The ILO stressed that a robust occupational safety and health system, involving the constructive participation of governments, employers, workers, health actors and all relevant parties at the national and enterprise levels, is crucial for protecting working conditions and ensuring safety and security. employee health.

Thanks to effective social dialogue, the government and the social partners can take an active part in all stages of decision-making processes on labor protection. This is important both when developing and revising health and safety policies and regulations to address ongoing and emerging health and safety issues, and when applying them in the workplace.
