March 13-17, 2023, the department's graduate education groups DEA-T19 (curator - V.V. Khomenko), DEA-A22 prisk (curator - T.M. Fursova), DEA-St22prisk (curator - O.M. Cherniak) participated in STEM School: Your First Path to Success. Organizers of the events are the public organization "Women's League" and the "Ambassadors of European Will" network.
On 03/13/23, the girls listened to advice on developing a scientific career. The organizers of STEM School held a workshop on writing articles and Academic Writing. Questions were considered: why it is important to publish the results of one's work and how to choose an appropriate journal; the classic structure of a scientific article and cliché phrases that help the paper sound "scientific".
On 03/15/23 there was a presentation about the skills needed to enter the IT field and a Q&A where you could ask about career opportunities in the IT field. The scientific evening ended with a practical workshop on data visualization in Python.
On March 17, 2023, a lecture on the popularization of STEM among the general public and a workshop "Scientific method in memeology or memeological approach in science" were held.
