0 In order to improve and adapt educational programs to modern labor market requirements, as well as increase the competitiveness of graduates, the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-Efficient Technologies discussed draft educational programs:
  • "Professional Education (Professional Education)" specialty A5.35 "Oil and Gas Business" of the second (master's) level;
  • "Professional Education (Professional Education)" specialty A5.35 "Oil and Gas Business" of the first (bachelor's) level;
  • "Quality, Standardization and Certification" in specialty G6 Information and Measurement Technologies of the field of knowledge G Engineering, Production and Construction of the second (master's) level of higher education
The discussion was joined by employers (stakeholders): Maya Yevgenivna Pivovar - Director of the Training and Course Complex of the Human Resources Management Department of JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya, and Igor Vasilyevich Tyupa - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Director for Labor Protection, Technical Safety and Personnel Training of KP Kharkiv Thermal Networks. The event was also attended by graduates of the NNI UEPA, who are currently working in the gas industry: Viktor Turasov - Engineer of the Construction Planning and Preparation Department, and Volodymyr Kutsenko - Master of Repair of Technological Equipment of GPU Shebelinkazvydobuvannya. Higher education applicants also joined the online meeting.
During the event, the guarantors of the educational program were Natalia Antonenko, Olena Prokopenko and Viktoria Knyazeva. They presented draft educational programs for 2026 and informed participants about the main results of the development of educational programs in 2025. In particular, the expansion of the list of practical training bases, including at oil and gas enterprises, as well as the involvement of practicing specialists in conducting training sessions, was noted.
The participants of the meeting discussed proposals for updating the educational and professional program, prepared by the working group, teachers and students. Considerable attention was paid to updating the content of the program in accordance with modern regulatory requirements and needs of the industry.
Following the discussion, employers thanked the institute's staff for the high-quality training of specialists who successfully work at industry enterprises, and made a number of constructive proposals for further improving the educational program. The implementation of the proposed recommendations will contribute to strengthening the practical component of training for students and increasing the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.
