0 The Educational and Scientific Institute "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy" of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University became a platform for a series of successful defenses of dissertations. During the end of April and the beginning of May 2026, three young scientists successfully received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in specialty 152 "Metrology and information and measuring technology".
The presented research covers a wide range of current technical and socio-economic problems:

• Konstantin Oleksandrovych Lomanov (April 28, 2026) defended a paper dedicated to improving methods for assessing the quality of socio-economic systems in conditions of limited information. Scientific supervisor — Roman Mykhailovych Trishch
• Denis Oleksandrovych Chirochkin (May 5, 2026) presented research on improving the quality of control systems for deep pumps, which is of critical importance for the energy efficiency of water supply and oil production. Scientific supervisor — Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Gennady Ivanovych Kanyuk.
• Serhiy Volodymyrovych Nasyrov (May 6, 2026) successfully substantiated methods for improving the quality of gas pumping stations through the synthesis of energy-efficient control systems. Scientific supervisor — Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Viktoriya Mykolayivna Knyazeva.
