April 12, 2021 was held a meeting of the working group on preparations for the accreditation of educational and scientific program of the third level of higher education PhD in specialty 152 "Metrology and Information and measuring equipment".

Currently, doctor of technical sciences, professor, head of the department of labor protection, standardization and certification, Trishch Roman is on an internship at the Gediminas Vilnius Technical University. The internship began with an acquaintance with the previous rectors of the Vilnius Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Edmundas Kazimeras Zavadskas and Doctor of Science, Professor Romualdas Ginevicius, and familiarization with the education system of Lithuania.

Teachers and young scientists of our department took part in the work of the International scientific and technical conference in the field of metrology, which was held from February 4 to 7, 2020 in the city of Slavske, Lviv region. Scientific reports, speeches and discussions made it possible to carry out a productive exchange of experience between domestic experienced and young scientists and practitioners in the field of metrological activity, strengthen the relationship between universities for further scientific cooperation, ensure the exchange of research results on the conference topics, formulate recommendations for improving metrology and metrological confirmation and quality management in education and industry.

13.12.2019 the regular meeting of the Dissertation Council К.64.108.04 on specialty 05.01.02 - standardization, certification and metrological equipment , which passed public defense of dissertations Danylenko Yuliyu.

On May 16-17, 2019, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Quality Management in Education and Industry: Experience, Problems and Prospects" was held at the National University "Lviv Polytechnic".

The conference was attended and made a presentation by the head of the department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Roman Trisch.
