0 A scientific seminar on the topic "Use of energy-efficient technologies" was held at the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-efficient Technologies of the Research Institute "UEPA" dedicated to the current issues of rational and efficient use of energy resources.

The event considered the essence of energy-efficient technologies as innovative solutions that ensure the achievement of the same or even higher beneficial effect from the use of heat and light while significantly reducing energy costs. It was emphasized that in modern economic conditions, their implementation contributes to:

• cost optimization;
• increasing the reliability of engineering systems;
• reducing the negative impact on the environment.

The participants paid special attention to discussing the current state of implementation of the concept of "energy-efficient house" and the use of heat pumps as one of the key tools for increasing the energy efficiency of buildings. A comprehensive assessment of the technical and economic aspects of implementing relevant solutions was carried out, and the effectiveness of energy-efficient housing projects was analyzed.

During the discussion, the main conditions for the feasibility of using such technologies were determined. In particular:

• the impact of the building's thermal insulation level on the overall efficiency of the systems was considered;
• the need for initial investments and subsequent operating costs was outlined.

Particular attention was paid to the following issues:

• ensuring the reliability of equipment operation;
• organizing its service;
• achieving long-term efficiency.

The seminar became an important platform for professional exchange of experience, generalization of scientific approaches and determination of prospects for the development of energy-efficient technologies in modern construction and energy conservation practice.
