On April 29, 2026, an open thematic online lecture was held for students of the Vocational Education (Oil and Gas Industry) educational program with the participation of program stakeholders - Yevgeny Babakov, director of the training and course complex of the Shebelinkagazvydobuvannya branch of the GPU of JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya and Anastasia Stepanets, leading master of industrial training of the training and course complex of the Shebelinkagazvydobuvannya branch of the GPU of JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
During the meeting, students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the features of the activities of one of the leading enterprises in the gas production industry of Ukraine, learn about the specifics of production processes, labor organization at the enterprise, and key areas of operation of the training and course complex, which provides professional training and development of personnel.
Ms. Anastasia focused in detail on the issues of forming professional competencies of employees, modern approaches to industrial training, and also outlined the requirements that employers today put forward to young specialists in the oil and gas industry. The applicants were particularly interested in information on combining theoretical training with practical experience and opportunities for professional development in production.
Conducting such thematic lectures with the participation of representatives of stakeholder enterprises is an important element of practice-oriented training of applicants, helps to strengthen the connection between university education and the real sector of the economy, and also forms a clear understanding of professional prospects in future specialists.
