0 The strength of the department reached the All-Ukrainian Radiodictant of National Unity - 2026
On June 27, 2026, on the Day of Ukrainian Literature, writers, writers, students and postgraduate students of our department traditionally gathered around the word and managed to write the All-Ukrainian Radiodictant of the national Unity.
I’ll call the bitter dictation “The leaf that never ends.” The author of the text was a Ukrainian writer, military service member and veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war Arthur Dron. The text of the dictation was revealed by the winner of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine, teacher of Ukrainian language and literature Artur Proidakova and volunteer and founder of the book project “UnderBooks” Dasha Astaf'eva.

0 On October 15, an extended meeting of the Department of Automation, Metrology, and Energy-Efficient Technologies—held at the Ukrainian Engineering-Pedagogical Academy (an academic institute within V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University)—took place, involving employers and stakeholders who collaborate with the department in the implementation of educational programs.

Associate professors of the department Natalia Antonenko, Svitlana Artyukh and Ganna Grinchenko, senior lecturer Volodymyr Drozd and laboratory assistant Yuriy Kramarenko took part in the seminar “Digital laboratories for organizing a virtual experiment in nature lessons disciplines."

0 On September 15, 2026, department lecturers Nataliia Antonenko and Hanna Hrinchenko participated in the online webinar "Starting a Business for Educators."
During the session, participants explored entrepreneurial opportunities within the education sector, ways to generate income, and methods for monetizing professional expertise. Special attention was paid to developing one's own educational product and leveraging the status of a professional development provider as a professional asset.

0 From June 10 to 26, 2026, teachers of the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-Efficient Technologies (Nataliya Antonenko, Hanna Grinchenko and Olena Bliznichenko) underwent advanced training at the NNI "Academy of Teachers" of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. There, training was carried out under the certificate program for advanced training "Sustainable Teaching", developed within the framework of the international project Erasmus+ CBHE Strand 2 SAFE LEARN "Supporting Adaptive and Flexible Education for War-Affected Students in Ukraine"

From June 1 to 5, 2026, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-Efficient Technologies of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Candidate of Technical Sciences Hanna Serhiivna Grinchenko, as part of the Karazin delegation, took part in the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The event on the topic of “Designing Courses, Assignments and Feedback for Students Using the LOUIS Competence Framework” was held at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Netherlands) within the framework of the Erasmus+ program and the Aurora European Universities Network.

0 Associate professors of the department Natalia Antonenko and Hanna Grinchenko joined a series of trainings for pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical employees of vocational (vocational and technical), professional pre-higher and higher education institutions “Google AI tools for teachers of Karazin University: personalizing student learning”. The training took place in a distance format from April 28 to May 19, 2026.

The public defense of the dissertation research on the topic "Improvement of methods for improving the quality of control systems for deep pumps" is a significant scientific achievement, which testifies to the high level of professional training, deep theoretical knowledge and practical orientation of scientific results.

0 On May 6, 2026, an open thematic online lecture was held by the stakeholder of the educational program "Professional Education (Oil and Gas Business)" - Maria Gundareva, a teacher at the Kharkiv Polytechnic Vocational College.
The event was organized with the aim of popularizing the teaching component of the specialty, forming among education seekers an awareness of the advantages of combining industry-specific oil and gas and pedagogical training, as well as expanding ideas about the professional prospects of graduates of the educational program.
