0 A scientific seminar on the topic "Use of energy-efficient technologies" was held at the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-efficient Technologies of the Research Institute "UEPA" dedicated to the current issues of rational and efficient use of energy resources.

The event considered the essence of energy-efficient technologies as innovative solutions that ensure the achievement of the same or even higher beneficial effect from the use of heat and light while significantly reducing energy costs. It was emphasized that in modern economic conditions, their implementation contributes to:

• cost optimization;
• increasing the reliability of engineering systems;
• reducing the negative impact on the environment.

In order to improve the educational and professional program “Professional Education (Oil and Gas Business)” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, a working meeting of audit group members with the program guarantor was held.

The audit group included: leading specialist of the department of methodological and accreditation work of the V.N. Karazin KhNU Andriy LOMAKIN, associate professor of the Department of Computer Systems and Robotics of the Scientific Research Institute of Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence Tetyana BYKOVA, as well as deputy director of the Scientific Research Institute “Academy of Teachers” Tetyana HOLOVATENKO. The meeting was also attended by the guarantor of the educational program – associate professor of the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-Efficient Technologies Nataliya ANTONENKO.

0 In order to improve and adapt educational programs to modern labor market requirements, as well as increase the competitiveness of graduates, the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-Efficient Technologies discussed draft educational programs:

• "Professional Education (Professional Education)" specialty A5.35 "Oil and Gas Business" of the first (bachelor's) level;
• "Quality, Standardization and Certification" in specialty G6 Information and Measurement Technologies of the field of knowledge G Engineering, Production and Construction of the second (master's) level of higher education

0 On March 4, the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-Efficient Technologies held a curatorial hour dedicated to International Women's Day. The event aimed not only to familiarize students with the history of this date, but also to promote respect for the principles of equality, dignity and human rights.

0 As part of the career guidance work, an online meeting with schoolchildren of the Kachaliv Lyceum of the Krasnokutsk Settlement Council of the Bogodukhov District and the Shariv Lyceum of the Bogodukhov City Council was held on 09.03.2026, during which topical issues of choosing a future profession and professional self-determination of young people were discussed.

0 05.03.26 the Department of AMET NNI UEPA KhNU named after V. Karazin attended an online seminar for guarantors of educational programs, organized by V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. During the event, topical issues of organizing the educational process, the role of the guarantor of the educational program and adherence to the principles of academic integrity in the modern system of higher education were discussed.

0 On February 12, 2026, students and teachers of the departments of automation, metrology and energy-efficient technologies of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy of the V. N. Karazin KhNU joined a meeting with representatives of the OMiS company - one of the leading Ukrainian manufacturers and importers of finishing and building materials. During the conversation, the guests shared the history of their business development, talked about their own production, modern equipment and an effective product quality control system.

0 On December 17, 2025, a successful pre-defense of dissertation research by applicants for the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education of the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-efficient Technologies, Nasyrov Serhiy Volodymyrovych and Chirochkin Denys Oleksandrovych, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 15 Automation and Instrumentation in the specialty 152 - Metrology and Information and Measuring Equipment (full-time) of the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-efficient Technologies of the Educational and Scientific Institute "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy" of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took place.

N. Karazin took place.

The event took place on November 12-13, 2025 at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and brought together leading experts in the education industry, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the National Qualifications Agency, heads of university departments, guarantors of educational programs, employers, students and the veteran community.
